YOUR $250.00 ANNUAL DUES HELP PAY FOR:
A $5,000 to $10,000 “death benefit” check that is presented to the family of Police, Fire or EMT personnel if loss of life occurs while in the line of duty.
The Scholarship Program - Eight (8) $10,000 Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school students each year. Continuing Education Program for Police, Fire and EMT personnel who are returning to school for a relevant degree.
The Appropriations Committee provides to many of the Police, Fire and EMT agencies that applied for this grant with money to help purchase additional equipment which helps strengthen their job performance and helps to protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Bergen County.
To date the 200 Club of Bergen County has given:
Over 1 million dollars in Scholarship awards to 108 students
Over $90,000.00 for continuing Education
More than $600,000.00 in Appropriations/grants including:

$50,000 for the creation of the Wall of Heroes, in honor of those who died in the line of duty. The Wall of Heroes is located at the Bergen County Police and Fire Academy in Mahwah, NJ.

$30,000 to Hackensack University Medical Center for a Mass Unit Response Vehicle to be used countywide.

$22,500 to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department for the purchase of a Ford Explorer.
