Presidents Message
 Dear Friends,
Now that we have celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2010, this year we have made the commitment to further our mission of “Serving our Servants”. Through our membership we will continue to expand our commitment with annual grants to police, fire and EMS units to provide equipment and promote safety and training for our public service organizations through the Appropriations Committee. Last year we were very proud as The Annual Scholarship Awards stood on its own with a reception at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack. Although this program has been in place for twenty- two years it was always a part of the Annual Valor Awards Luncheon. It was a great success as we celebrated ten graduating high school seniors that were awarded $10,000 each. I am sad to report that already in the New Year we have realized the loss of life as an emergency medical service volunteer passed away while serving in the line of duty. Our promise is to never forget and to support the family both financially and emotionally.
As our community of Bergen County and our State continue to realize difficult times and budgets are being cut, we are needed now more than ever. I welcome you in 2011 to help us on our membership drive! A number of 200 Club events are will be held throughout the year so please take advantage of them to bring prospective members.
I will look forward to seeing you at our 25th Annual Valor Awards Luncheon on May 4, 2011 at the Marriott Glenpointe in Teaneck, NJ, and remember to “bring a guest”.
Thank you again for your continued support.
Jack Terhune
President
