ROBERT ABATE
Robert Abate was Executive Vice President of National Card Processing systems and was also responsible for National Cards agent bank program. Bob is also a former Consumer Credit Committee Chairman of new BJ Bankers (1986-7 and 1992-3) and served as a Senior Vice president of National Community Bank for twenty two years.
RICHARD BAILEY
Richard Bailey lives in Edison, is a member of the Colonia Country Club and was a councilman in North Plainfield. But don’t let any of that fool you. A large part of him has also resided in Bergen County – and his efforts with the 200 Club serve as proof.
A trustee since joining the 200 Club in 1988, Bailey has been integral in the growth of the Rinaldi Golf Classic since its inception – when it was known simply as the 200 Club Golf Outing – and serves as event co-chair. Bailey helped spearhead the record-breaking fund-raising efforts last year when more than $50,000 was raised.
Bailey had been active in Bergen County for many years as a manager of the PSE&G Bergen generating station in Ridge?eld, and was introduced to the 200 Club by John Rinaldi and Fletch Creamer in 1988. His involvement in the club also includes serving as chair of the Investment Committee, a group which conservatively manages the organization’s cash reserves. Created in 1995, these funds have grown steadily and extend the 200 Club’s ability to ful?ll its mission.
Not yet ready to fully retire, Bailey is now a mortgage professional with the Berkshire Financial Group. Over the years, he has served on the boards of several non-pro?t organizations, including the United Way of Essex and Hudson counties, and at Holy Name Hospital, in Teaneck.
ALLISON CREAMER, J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc
For Allison Creamer, involvement in the 200 Club is part passion and part legacy. Allison's grandfather, J. Fletcher Creamer was the founder of the 200 Club of Bergen County and her father was also a trustee. So when Allison was asked to serve as a trustee two years ago, it's an opportunity she gladly accepted. Allison serves on the Special Events Committee, which manages the annual golf outing and valor awards luncheon, among other events.
Allison for the past five years has been in the family business, as Manager of Human Resources for J. Fletcher Creamer & Sons, a full-service construction firm with approximately 1,000 employees in four states. Allison, in fact, created the human resources department at Creamer & Sons to ensure the firm's compliance with federal and state labor laws, to more efficiently administer benefits, and to communicate company policy.
Looking for a new challenge outside her family's business and seeking to leverage her construction experience, Allison joined Cream Wood Construction LLC in September 2004 and serves as its president. Cream Wood rents and leases heavy equipment to construction companies throughout the tri-state area.
Allison is a member of two construction industry groups: the National Association of Women in Construction and Professional Women in Construction, as well as the business group the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey.
Allison lives in Saddle River with her beagle, Diggler and greyhound, Calvin.
CLARA KREJSA
Clara Krejsa's appreciation for the 200 Club of Bergen County dates back to the Club's inception, when Christine and Ray Farrington asked her then boss, New Jersey Senator Paul Contillo to support the 200 Club in 1985. With a firefighting husband, it didn't take long for Krejsa to understand the value of the organization.
Clara officially became a member in 1993 and in 1988 was asked by then president John Rinaldi to join the 200 Club's Board of Trustees. She's currently serving a third, three-year term, and is a member of the Action Committee, which is at the heart of the 200 Club's mission - to provide financial and other support to the families of fallen firefighters, police and emergency services workers.
